Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the more frequently asked question regarding either Iridology or
the SA Iridology Institute trainings. Should you have any other question, please email us.

Who will conduct the Iridology training?

All the Iridology training, with the exception of some of the Advanced Levels, will be conducted by
    Dr Haylett personally
.

I have a problem understanding something to do with Iridology or am simply dumbfounded by the
specific iris markings I've observed, now what?

All SA Iridology Institute students, whether currently in training or already certified, have unlimited
access to Dr Haylett via phone, e-mail or in person for any advice needed regarding Iridology or any
unusual patient condition. Some students even email the odd patient's iris photos to Dr Haylett for a
second opinion or confirmation of their observations.

Can I expect any further support after certification?
According to our students, our extensive support during and after certification is one of the aspects
that puts SA Iridology Institute head and shoulders above any of the other institutions.

I have an Iridology qualification, but it's not from SA Iridology Institute and I've discovered that my
Iridology knowledge is either outdated or I would simply prefer to further my studies with SA Iridology
Institute. Will my prior Iridology qualification be recognized?

While we will do our utmost to accommodate you, we will need to assess your current qualifications
and level of experience before we can advise you on the best route to follow to further or update your
Iridology skills. As the leading Iridology Training Institute we have a duty to ensure that our students
are equipped with the best skills and understanding of Iridology as well as have a thorough knowledge
    of the latest developments.

I don't have any medical or alternative healthcare qualification, but am very interested in becoming
an Iridologist. Can I study through SA Iridology Institute?

Unfortunately the answer is no. Firstly Iridology is not a profession, it is an diagnostic tool which is
used in conjunction with other qualifications. And secondly, we only accept students with a sound
      knowledge of
anatomy, physiology and pathology.

Can Iridology be used to determine disease?
         No,
Iridology cannot determine disease, instead it recognizes the individual constitution, inherent
strengths and weaknesses, toxins and their location, poor waste clearance, inflammation, biochemical
deficiencies and the general health and soundness of the patient. The trained practitioner can detect
signs of biochemical and physiological needs and changes in the body long before the appearance of
symptoms, thus enabling prevention of the disease before it can manifest.
